Knox Street is one of Dallas's best known, albeit shortest, streets. And UCR Urban's Lawrence Attaway and Mickey Ashmore are largely responsible for making it one of the nation's premier “put togethers” of home furnishings and restaurants.

In 1994, Lawrence Attaway introduced Pottery Barn to Knox Street, whose decision to locate there was the catalyst for the street's revitalization. Over the next decade we have also worked with tenants and landlords, securing Smith & Hawken, Restoration Hardware, Z Gallerie, Crate & Barrel, Sur la Table, Design Within Reach, Starbucks, Viking and Apple. Today, it is, one of the city's most popular and vibrant urban villages with many retailers enjoying sales in excess of $600 psf.
