In 2005, Regency Centers believed they had an opportunity to develop their first lifestyle center. With two developers vying for the lifestyle center component in the south Denton county trade area, they knew they would need a company with proven success in advising this genre of shopping experience. Venturing beyond their internal leasing team, Regency Centers selected UCR Urban’s Jack Breard and Mickey Ashmore to be their consulting and leasing team.
UCR Urban was charged with proving the intersection of FM 2499 and FM 407. A comprehensive market study, a transportation plan and vehicular report were crafted to tell a very compelling story, attracting dominant and logical retailers including Banana Republic, Chico’s and Talbot’s, providing the lead apparel tenants necessary to kick-off the center.
UCR Urban crafted the tenant mix and handled every retail lease in the project.
