MidTowne Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas
Upscale Shopping for an Underserved Market.
In 2002, Dallas Developer, Jim Strode asked UCR Urban's Mickey Ashmore to advise and consult on a proper tenant mix and plan for this Midtowne Little Rock, an urban infill site in Little Rock, Arkansas.
With heavy competition from a well-established mall in the same trade area and two announced Little Rock projects, UCR Urban worked to secure two key tenants, Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn, both new to the state of Arkansas. They were followed shortly by Ann Taylor Loft, J. Jill, Chico's, White House / Black Market, Harold's, Brighton, The Children's Place, Pei Wei and Starbucks.
Finalizing the mix, in 2008 the first Container Store in Arkansas will open at Midtowne Little Rock, which today offers 130,000 sf of specialty retail.
