Fran Powell

Director of Property Mgmt, Partner

As Director of Property Management, Fran Powell, SCSM, SCMD oversees the property management department for UCR Asset Services. Fran joined the company in 1997 and created and put into action the Policies and Procedures Manual, which is followed by all property managers, thereby ensuring the standards and quality of management now expected of UCR Asset Services by its clients. She brings over 29 years of retail and office management and marketing expertise to the company.

Previously Fran worked with Carter & Associates in Atlanta as their Arts Director and Assistant Corporate Communications Director before joining the shopping center side of the business. Her introduction to Texas was completed when she relocated to Waco to manage the area’s largest regional mall. After joining FP&Associates she moved to Dallas, where she continued to manage both retail and office properties. In 1995 she joined Marathon US Realties and moved to Santa Fe. A CMD (Certified Shopping Center Marketing Director) since 1981 and a CSM (Certified Shopping Center Manager) since 1986, Powell received the senior status of both designations in 1999.

Fran has taught for the John T. Riordan School of Professional Development, the educational entity of the International Council of Shopping Centers; her course being titled Managing Open Air Centers.
