Clair Parker Tompkins

As a vice president for UCR Urban, Clair Parker Tompkins uses her past industry expertise and creativity along with her retail foresight to help clients achieve their goals in an increasingly competitive retail marketplace.

Clair has represented such retailers as Border’s Books and Music, Aveda Institute and Lifestyle Stores, Village Burger Bar, Panacea, and Baby Bliss.

In addition to her retailer representation work, Clair has leased both the Shops at Legacy and Southlake Town Square for Inland. She has also worked on the leasing and consulting for Watters Creek, The Shops at Highland Village and Park Lane.

Prior to joining UCR Urban in 2005, Clair was the founder, co-owner and co-designer of Everett Parker Design, a contemporary bridge line sold in over 40 stores worldwide. Her line was represented at all of the major wholesale markets in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Atlanta.

Clair sold her company to her business partner shortly after joining UCR and has been focused on the retail and real estate side of the business since then. She still maintains relationships with many of the boutique owners and has vast knowledge of designers, trends and the emerging fashion tenants in the United States and beyond.

Clair’s biggest contribution to UCR URBAN comes in her cutting edge understanding of the fashion industry from every angle and her ability to translate that knowledge into finding the perfect location for each individual retailer she works with.

A Dallas native, Clair received a bachelor of arts degree in art history and studio art from the College of Charleston. She has also lived in London, New York, San Diego, Mexico City, and Barcelona where she was either working on her fashion line or studying art in her undergraduate program.
